Showcasing Tamilnadu Heritage

The Archaeological Survey of India is holding photo exhibitions at important heritage sites in observation of World Heritage Week from Nov 19th to 25th

These exhibitions are being held at the Thanjavur Big Temple and at Mamallapuram. An important highlight of the exhibition is pictures showing important monuments as they looked before restoration by ASI and after. The Thanjavur exhibition will have photographs primarily from the Big temple and other important monuments from Perambalur districts, Mamallapuram and Gingee Fort.
